IMPROVISATION IN UNIVERSAL MUSIC
BRASUCA LANGUAGE COURSE
The course aims to develop rhythmic and melodic language for improvisation in Brazilian rhythms from Forró.
The idea is based on Know, Understand and Apply and is divided into 3 parts:
rhythmic
- Main rhythmic cells that are present in Brazilian rhythms
- Forky and its developments
- Colcheia in Forró
- Cells-key
- 3/4
- 7/8
melodic/harmonic
- Knowing the sound of chords
- Melodic patterns characteristics
- Characteristic cadences of the First Inversion
- Possible substitutions and harmonic overlaps in the Second Inversion.

Format
Students will receive daily studies, exclusive play alongs, pdfs, demo videos and links, and will also work as a channel for questions.
